Commuter Advice 


  • FROM THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE (NORTH OR SOUTH) - Take Exit 15W. After toll stay to your Right and take exit for Rt. 508 West/Kearny. Follow the ramp and you will be on Harrison Avenue. Go to first (1st) traffic light (Wal-Mart on left) and make Right turn onto Bergen Avenue. Take Bergen Avenue to first traffic light and make Right turn onto Schuyler Avenue. Take Schuyler Avenue for two (2) traffic lights and make Left turn onto Oakwood Avenue. Proceed on Oakwood Avenue to the end and make a Right onto Belgrove Drive. The Funeral Home will be on your left after the third (3rd) house.
  • FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY (NORTH OR SOUTH) - Take Exit 145. Follow the ramp and get onto Rt. 280 East. Take Rt. 280 East, and follow the signs for the NJ Turnpike. (Stay in two right lanes) Take the first exit immediately after the Stickel Bridge (Exit 16). Go down the ramp to the second (2nd) traffic light and make a Right turn onto Harrison Avenue. Go to the second (2nd) traffic light and make a Right turn onto Passaic Avenue. Go to the fourth (4th) traffic light and make a Right turn onto Belgrove Drive. (Exxon Gas Station on your right). Follow Belgrove Drive for about 1.5 miles and the funeral home will be on your left.
  • ROUTE 46 (FROM THE WEST)  - Follow Route 46 East to Route 3 East to Route 21 South. Take Exit 7 which is the Belleville Exit. Follow the ramp and at the traffic light make a Left turn onto Main Avenue. Go past the shopping center and follow the road till you see a sign that says "Bridge". Bear to your Right and go to the second block and make a Left turn onto Cortlandt Avenue. Go one block and make a Left turn onto Rutgers Avenue. Go over the bridge and make a Right turn onto Passaic Avenue. Follow the road to the first (1st) traffic light. Turn Left onto South Midland Avenue. Go all of the way up the hill. Turn Right at the Stop sign and go to the traffic light. Make a Right turn onto Belgrove Drive. Funeral Home is on your right eight (8) houses up.
  • FROM THE LINCOLN TUNNEL - Come out of the tunnel (Route 495) and follow the signs for the New Jersey Turnpike South. Follow the directions from the NJ Turnpike.
  • FROM THE HOLLAND TUNNEL - Come out of tunnel and proceed to Routes 1 & 9 Stay in your left hand lane and follow Routes 1&9 South (Trucks). Take Exit for Kearny & Route 7. Take Route 7 West for about 2 miles to Schuyler Avenue. (CVS Pharmacy on your Right) Make a Left turn onto Schuyler Avenue. Take Schuyler Avenue to first (1st) traffic light and make Right turn onto Midland Avenue. Follow Midland Avenue to third (3rd) light and make a Left turn onto Belgrove Drive. Funeral home is on your right eight houses up.
  • FROM THE VERRAZANO BRIDGE - Go over Goethals Bridge and go to NJ Turnpike North to Exit 15 W. Follow the directions from NJ Turnpike
  • FROM THE GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE - Take NJ Turnpike South to Exit 15W. Follow the directions from NJ Turnpike.
  • FROM DOWNTOWN NEWARK - Go over the Jackson Street Bridge into Harrison. You are now on Frank E. Rodgers Blvd (4th Street) Follow the road into Kearny. (Becomes Kearny Avenue) Make a Left turn onto Oakwood Avenue (Mace Brothers Furniture and Exxon on corner) Take Oakwood to end and make Right turn onto Belgrove Drive.   • FROM NEWARK - Take Route 21 to the Clay Street Bridge. Make a Right turn and go over the bridge. At first light make a Left turn onto Passaic Avenue (Hess Gas Station on corner) Go to the fourth (4th) traffic light and make a Right turn onto Belgrove Drive (Exxon gas Station on corner) Follow Belgrove Drive for about  1.5 miles and the funeral home is on your Left.
  • PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINAL- FROM NEW YORK CITY - DeCamp Bus lines # 99 to Kearny. Get off at Kearny  and Midland Avenue. Walk West up Midland Avenue for three (3) blocks to Belgrove Drive. Cross Midland Ave and walk south on Belgrove Drive. Funeral home is eighth (8th) house on right.
  • PATH TRAIN - Get off at Harrison Station. Taxi stand on the street below. Five (5) minute ride to the funeral home. 585 Belgrove Drive.
