Zdzislaw Mips, 91, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at home in Harrison, NJ.
The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Monday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visitation will begin in the funeral home on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Born in Bialstok, Poland, Zdzislaw immigrated to the United States in 1980 and lived in Newark, NJ. He later moved to Kearny where he lived for thirty years before moving to Harrison three years ago.
Mr. Mips is survived by his wife, Jadwiga (nee Silwowska) Mips, three children, Wojciech Mips, Barbara Naprwa and Ana Mips-Gontarczuk, one brother, Boghdan Mips and four grandchildren.
