Teresa Velez

Teresa Velez, 78, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020, in University Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Velez has lived in Newark for the last 49 years.

She is survived by her children, Angel Ocasio and his wife, Gladys, Maria Ocasio, and Jacqueline Ocasio and two sisters, Isabel Velez and Nicolasa Diaz. Teresa also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Felix Ocasio.

Private interment will take place at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, NJ.
