Susan Ann (Ziakos) Ritacco

Susan Ann Ritacco, (nee Ziakos), 46, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, November 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Face masks are required for visitation and the funeral service. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.

Born in Orange, NJ Susan was raised in West Orange, NJ, and has lived in Belleville, NJ for the last twenty-two years.

Mrs. Ritacco was a Teacher’s Aide in Belleville for the last fifteen years. She was a proud member of the N.J.E.A., the Belleville P.T.A., and a volunteer with the Belleville Little League.

She is survived by her son, Vincent Hinojosa, her parents, Panagiotis and Susan (nee Ruff) Ziakos and her siblings, Dimitra Ziakos, Pete Ziakos (Nancy) Panagiotis, Ziakos, Alexandros Ziakos and Alvaro DeOliveria. She also leaves behind her nephews, Pete, Luca, and Nicholas.

Susan was predeceased by her husband, Giorgio Ritacco.
