Obituary

Miss Sharon Powell, 64, passed away peacefully at home in Orange, NJ on Sunday, July 30, 2023, while surrounded by her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, August 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. Cremation will be private.

Born in New York City, Sharon lived there until moving to Orange in 2016.

She worked for Verizon in Manhattan for many years before retiring in 2008.

Sharon is survived by her sister, Anita Powell, niece Nicole Powell and great-nephews, Xavier, Nicholas and Alexander Otero.
