Sara (Connelly) Armitt

Sara Armitt, (nee Welsh), 67, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at St. Michaels Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, June 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be private.

Born in Newark, Sara was raised and lived in Kearny for many years. She later moved to Scotland before returning to Kearny.

She is survived by her children, Alexander W. Davies, Matthew T. Armitt and, Allyson Sexton and two brothers, Harold Welsh and George Welsh.

Mrs. Armitt was predeceased by two husbands, Alexander Leslie Davies and Matthew Lawson Armitt, and one brother, James Welsh, and her parents, Harold B. Welsh, Sr. and Mary (nee Connelly) Welsh.
