Rolando Orazio Najarro, 51, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, October 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. Cremation will be private.
Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Rolando immigrated to the United States in 1982 and lived in Hillside, NJ before moving to Kearny thirty years ago.
He was a journeyman at local 25 northern New Jersey before transferring to local 28 NYC/Long Island sheet metal workers international Union. He was active for 27 years with 3 years left until retirement.
Rolando dedicated all his free time to coaching his sons’ youth soccer teams while also giving kids a place to play and teach the game he loved. He was a Real Madrid fan and made sure that was passed down to his children.
Rolando was a family man. Everything he did, his family was right beside him. As well as family, Rolando leaves behind many friends. He loved to host barbecues and crab fests at the house as often as possible.
Rolando was excited to attend his oldest son’s wedding next year in April. He had a very good relationship with his soon to be daughter-in-law, Chelsea.
Mr. Najarro is survived by his wife, Diane (Soares) Najarro of 31 years, two sons, Edgar Michael Najarro and John Rolando Najarro, and Father, Rafael Rolando Najarro
