Rita V. (Hink) Pettigrew

Rita V. Pettigrew, (Hink), 81, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Tuesday, February 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday February 26 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Mrs. Pettigrew has lived in Kearny since 1971.

She is survived by one son, Andrew Pettigrew, and two brothers, John and Jerome Hink.

Rita was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Pettigrew in 1993.
