Patricia (Kearney) Della Fera

Patricia Della Fera, 88, (nee Kearney), passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at her home in Kearny, NJ.

Born in Kearny, Pat was a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Della Fera was a Secretary in the Special Services Department for the Kearny Board of Education for several years before retiring in 1996. Prior, she was a Legal Secretary at Crummy, Del Deo in Newark, NJ for 20 years.

Pat was a member of the St. Stephen’s Seniors and the Senior Citizens of Kearny. She was a volunteer with the St. Cecilia Food Pantry for many years.

Pat was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend to many. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her faithful four-legged sidekick, Mimi

She is survived by her children, Mary Scorpati and her husband, Joseph, Nancy Della Fera-DeMauro, Patricia Graham, and her husband, Mark, and Edward Della Fera, and his wife, Maria. She was the grandmother of Mark and Jessica Graham, Kyle, and Amber Graham, Evan Graham and John and Katie DeMarco, and Roy and Kevin DeMauro. Pat also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Bradley, Alana, and Autumn Graham and Declan DeMarco, and RJ and Kaylee DeMauro. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Della Fera was predeceased by her husband, Edward G, Della Fera, and her son-in-law Roy DeMauro.

Funeral arrangements are private. The family will plan a celebration of her life at a later date with extended family and friends.
