Michael O’Hare, 49, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, March 31 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the funeral home on Tuesday, March 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. Face masks and social distancing will be required.

Born in Newark, NJ, Michael was raised in Kearny and lived there until moving to Bridgewater, NJ twenty-three years ago.
He was Vice President of Wealth Management and a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley in Warren, NJ. for the last 10 years. Prior, He worked in the same capacity at Wells Fargo for 15 years.
Mr. O’Hare was happiest while volunteering his time and coaching his three children along with many other children for the Bridgewater/Raritan youth baseball, soccer, and softball recreation leagues and travel leagues. Michael loved playing golf with his son, Nick, and his two older brothers, Paul and John.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra (nee Romano) O’Hare, and his three adored children, Nicholas, Ava, and Lucas O’Hare. He was the brother of Mary White and her husband, Charlie, Paul O’Hare and his wife Marie, and John O’Hare and his wife Maureen. Michael was the son-in-law of Anthony and Maria (nee Pacheco) DeVito and brother-in-law of Mark and Christopher Romano. He was the uncle of Kevin and his wife, Molly, Brian and his wife, Lan, Michael and Maureen White; Sean, Robert, Patrick, Juliet, and Charlotte, and the great uncle of Vivian and Charlie White.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Paul A. and Sally P. (nee Connolly) O’Hare and one sister Margaret “Maggy” O’Hare.
