Michael J. Carson

Michael J. Carson, 59, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, January 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be private.

Born in Newark, Michael lived in Kearny his entire life.

He was a Tow Truck Driver/Operator for Associated Towing & Recovery in Kearny for the last thirty years.

Mr. Carson was a proud member of the United Irish of West Hudson.  He also served as a Constable for Hudson County.

He is survived by two brothers, David Carson and his wife Bridget (McGuire) and Jerry Carson. He was the uncle of Ryan, Kara Anne, and Allyssa. Michael also leaves many cousins and dear friends.  He will be deeply missed by so many.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Margaret (Leahy) Carson and one brother, Jimmy Carson.
