Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, May 29 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Arlington, Cemetery, Kearny.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, Matthew has lived in Kearny for the last 27 years.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his siblings, Leif Johnson and his wife, Linda, Aaron Johnson and his wife, Annie and Mary Yaworsky and her husband, Raymond. He also leaves two nieces, Gwendolyn and Maryrose.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary (nee Healy) Johnson, one brother, Eric Johnson and one sister, Alice Johnson.
