Mark V. Brady, “Cheeks”, 48 died suddenly on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his home in Moonachie, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, June 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 8:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.
Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Mark lived there until moving to Moonachie in 2017.
He was a former member of Ironworkers Local Union No. 45 in Jersey City.
Mark is survived by his mother, Gail (nee Toomey) Katsinis, and two aunts, Kathleen Adamson and her husband, Glenn as well as Denise Toomey. Mark was the cousin of Troy T. Hurley, Thomas T. Hurley, and his wife, Rachele, Tracey Toomey, and John Launder.
He was predeceased by his aunt, Deborah Toomey, and his cousin, Dawn Sheldrick.
“Cheeks” will be deeply missed by his Our Lady of Victories parish family and his friends from Mallory Avenue, both in Jersey City.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Mark’s memory.
