Marie Donoghue

Marie Donoghue, 57, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at home in Clifton, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Sunday, December 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Marie moved to Kearny in 1997 and lived there until moving to Clifton, NJ one year ago.

She was an Administrative Assistant for the Division of Affordable Housing for Hudson County in Jersey City for several years.

Ms. Donoghue is survived by two sons, Scott Miceli and James Miceli, four sisters, Kathy Donoghue, Joanne Reading (Matt), Patricia “Ticia” Irvine (John) and Judy Peyrouten (George), four brothers, Michael Donoghue (Rose), Daniel Donoghue (Deb) Richard Donoghue, and Timmy Donoghue. Marie also leaves many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Joanne (Murray) Donoghue and one brother, William Donoghue and one brother-in-law, James Halloway.
