Maria America (Chafart) Moran

Maria America Chafart de Moran, 88, a loving mother and grandmother was granted her angel wings on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, August 19 at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Peter’s Church, Belleville, NJ at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Mrs. Moran was known for her quick wit, and a kind and compassionate spirit. Maria will be eternally remembered by her sons and daughters, Jose, Gioconda, Luis, Ximena, Pedro, Soraya, Ruben, and Veronica. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was predeceased in death by her daughter, Maria Eufemia
