Maria Julia Dias, (nee DaSilva), 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, in Columbus LTAC, Newark, NJ.

Born in Leca de Palmeira Matosinhos, Portugal. Ms. Dias immigrated to the United States in 1976 and lived in Astoria, Queens. She has lived in Kearny for the last 10 years.

Maria was a housekeeper in New York City employed by the same family for 40 years.

She is survived by her children, Ana Monica Dias, and Miguel Dias. She was the sister of Isabel Rodrigues. Claudio, Manuel, and Severo DaSilva, and the grandmother of Evan Dias.

Funeral arrangements are private.
