Maria (DiBrigida) Bauer

Maria Bauer, (nee DiBrigida), 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in St. Joseph's University Hospital, Paterson, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Monday, October 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, October 24 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.

Born in Paterson, Maria lived there for many years. She has lived in Wayne, NJ for the last 15 years.

Ms. Bauer was an L.P.N. at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ for 30 years before retiring 12 years ago. 

She is survived by two sons, Scott Bauer (Shawna) and Christopher Bauer (Andreia) and one sister, Louise Gervolino. Maria was the beloved grandmother of Charlee and Frankie Bauer and Dean Bauer.
