Luiz Poncio

Luiz Poncio, 60, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his home in Roselle, NJ.

Born in Curitiba, Brazil, he immigrated to the United States in 1989. He lived in Newark, NJ before moving to Roselle 14 years ago.

Mr. Poncio was a Machine Operator for Operating Engineers Local 825 in Springfield, NJ for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife, Marilene (Duarte) Poncio, two children, Michelle Azzi and Luiz Poncio, Jr., and two step-daughters, Celice Pacheco and Cecile Doamaral. He was the grandfather of Sierra Moorman.

Cremation services were private.
