Her strength, warmth, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Born on April 17, 1944, to Earl and Marie (nee Gandolfo) Moschella, Karen carried a quiet resilience and generous spirit from an early age. In 1963, she married her high school sweetheart; Robert James Wilson Jr., beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in deep friendship, commitment, and shared purpose.

Together, Karen and Robert raised three children and took over and continued to build the family business, R. Wilson Plumbing & Heating, in North Arlington which was started in 1948 by Robert, Sr.  Karen served as office manager for most of her life. Her intelligence and dedication were instrumental to the business’s success, and her presence made the office feel like home.

Though accomplished in her professional life, Karen’s greatest passion was her family. She was a devoted mother to Robert James III, Brian Earl, and Shannon Anne, and a beloved grandmother to Brianna, Brian, and Brooklyn. She cherished her time with her grandchildren, and her face would light up in their presence.

Karen was known for her enduring strength and resilience. Life brought challenges, including heartbreaking losses, but she met them all with grace and determination. Her caring nature and thoughtful gestures made those around her feel truly seen and loved.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her three beloved children. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her brother, James; her sister, Joyce; her sister-in-law, Darlene; her three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Her memory will live on in each of them.

Karen Wilson’s life was a testament to love, family, and strength. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
