Isabel (Rosa) Vieira

 Isabel Vieira, (Rosa), 79, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, while surrounded by her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, February 14 from 4 to 8 p.m.  The funeral will begin in the funeral home on Saturday morning at 8:45 a.m. then to Queen of Peace R.C. Church, North Arlington, NJ where a 9:45 Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Born in Porto de Mos, Portugal, Isabel immigrated to the United States in 1973 and settled in Newark, NJ. In 1980 she moved to Kearny before moving to Nutley, NJ in 2014.

Mrs. Vieira was a member of the Womans Auxiliary Team at the Portuguese Cultural Association of Kearny.

She is survived by two sons, Nelson Vieira and his wife, Borischka and Dr. Pedro Vieira, one brother, Antonio Rosa and three beloved grandsons, Tiago, Lucas and Marco Vieira.

Isabel was predeceased by her husband, Jose Vieira in 2016.
