Gregorio Luis Miranda

Gregorio L. Miranda, 65, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020, in Brookhaven Health Care Center in East Orange, NJ.

Born in Sao Pedro Cadeira, Portugal, Gregorio immigrated to the United States in 1986 and settled in Harrison, NJ.

He was a Laborer for Heavy and General Labors’ Local 472 in Newark, NJ for twenty years before retiring 12 years ago.

Mr. Miranda was a member of Centro Romeu Cascaes in Harrison.

He is survived by his wife, Maria (nee Carlos) Miranda; four sons, Pedro, Antonio, Raul, and Ricardo Miranda; two sisters, Maria Joao and Albertina Alves and two brothers, Luis and Albino Miranda.

Gregorio also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Due to restrictions placed on public gatherings because of (COVID-19) Gregorio’s funeral arrangements are private.
