Geza "Michael" Schimpf

Geza (Michael) Schimpf, 58, passed away on Monday, June 21, in Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck, NJ.

Born in Belleville, NJ, Michael was raised in Kearny, NJ, and later lived in Lincoln Park, NJ then Palisades Park, NJ before moving to Ridgefield Park, NJ two years ago.

He was a Homeland Security Officer for many years and a proud member of the National Rifle   Association.

Mr. Schimpf spent many hours at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park, guarding an Eagles Nest near Overpeck Creek. The nest is one of five in Bergen County.

He is survived by one sister, Csilla Blahut, and one nephew, James Blahut.
