In Loving Memory of Geraldine Marissa Montalvo
Geraldine Montalvo (Pagan), beloved daughter, wife, mother of two, and friend to many, passed away at the age of 56 on Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ. Geri leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
Geri’s enthusiasm for life was beyond comparison. She spent countless hours with her toes in the sand and the sun warming her face. If you were lucky to spend a day at the beach with Geri, you left that day a better and kinder person, with sore cheeks from laughing. Geri knew how to mix a perfect blend of care and relaxation, always ensuring those around her were smiling and content.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. As a devoted mother, she instilled in her children kindness, patience, and generosity. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support extended to every friend and family member that crossed her path. She was a mother to all, creating a home filled with love and cherished moments.
She was a dedicated Legal Assistant for 18 vibrant years at McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC in Roseland, NJ. Known for her sharp intellect and warm demeanor, she left an indelible mark on her colleagues, who she regarded as family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Louis Montalvo, two children, Manny and Gabrielle, parents Raymond Pagan and Geraldine Claudio, siblings Vanesa and Steven Nye, Alexia Harris, Alex Pagan and her Godson Steven John Nye and great nephew Greyson and great niece Stevie. She will be dearly missed by her family and countless friends who were touched by her warmth.
Though she may no longer dance beside us, her laughter and her familiar motto, “Relax, relate, and release,” rings in our ears forever more. Her love guides us and her zest for life inspires us to embrace each day with joy and gratitude.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will begin Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.
