George Martinez, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Alaris on Belgrove in Kearny, NJ.

Relatives & friends are invited to join his family on Saturday, March 22nd at St. Cecilia Church in Kearny for a Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. 

Born in Newark, NJ, George was a lifelong resident.

Mr. Martinez is survived by his children, Elena Martinez-Edwards, son-in-law Michael Edwards, Tyisha Martinez, George Borges & Jeremy Diaz. He also leaves five beautiful grandchildren, Jayden, Evan, Leann, LeMaya & Ethan and his loving mother & sisters, Elena Martinez, Virginia Martinez-Vega & MaryLou Pittman.
