Frances M. (Collura) Wolansky

Frances M. Wolansky, (nee Collura), 81, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021, at her daughter, Kristen’s home in Scotch Plains, NJ

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Saturday, April 24 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst, NJ at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

Born in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Wolansky lived in North Arlington her entire life.

She graduated from Panzer College, now Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. Frances later became a Physical Education Teacher for the New Milford Board of Education in New Milford, NJ. She left after two years to open her own antique business which she would run for the next 50 years.

Mrs. Wolansky is survived by her daughters, Kimberly A. Wolansky and Kristen L. Wolansky-Bretz, and her husband, John, and 4 grandchildren, Robert, Lauren, Amber, and Erika.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Wolansky in 2018.
