Fanny Andrade

Fanny Andrade, 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family in her daughter’s home in Belleville, NJ after a courageous battle with cancer.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday August 9 from 5 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will be private.

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Fanny was raised in Alausi, and at age 18, immigrated to the United States in 1970. She lived in Harrison, NJ and later Belleville, NJ before retiring to Winter Garden, FL fifteen years ago. She returned to New Jersey in December of 2023.
Ms. Andrade was a self-employed Cosmetologist for many years before retiring in 1999.

She is survived by three children, Carmita Andrade and her husband, Joffre, Fanny MacTavish and her husband, Tom and Christian Paredes; two sisters, Teresa Silva and Zoila Condo and two brothers, Galo Andrade and Raul Andrade. Fanny was the beloved grandmother of Jeffrey Andrade, Christopher Andrade, Nicole Andrade, Emma MacTavish, Jake MacTavish, Lexi MacTavish, Gianna Paredes, Cristiano Paredes and Ashley Mycz.
