Estrella Rivera Tagao

Estrella Rivera Tagao, 59, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, April 21 from 4 to 8 p.m.

The funeral will begin in the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. then to St. Stephen's Church, Kearny where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be private.

Born in Isabela, Philippines, Estrella came to the United States in 1993 and lived in Staten Island, NY. She later moved to Brooklyn, NY then Queens, NY before moving to Kearny twenty-two years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Katzer and two daughters, Mariah Isabel Katzer and Emily May Katzer.
