Enid Zafra

Enid Zafra, 57, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Saturday, September 7 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m.

Miss Zafra was born and raised in Newark, NJ. She moved to Kearny in 1991.

She earned a Masters Degree in Marketing from Kean University in Union, NJ in 1989.

The daughter of Luis Zafra (deceased), she is survived by her mother, Francisca (nee Vega) Zafra; two sisters, Maria Cortes and Ibis Zafra, brother-in-laws, Anibal Cortes and Manny Sepulveda.  Enid was the aunt of Desiree Cortes, Christopher Jorge, Eric Valdez and the great-aunt of Savanna Stanziale.
