Elvia J. Cardona Vda. De Fonseca, 92, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at her home in Kearny, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Burial will take place on Sunday, April 25, 2021 in Jardines y Cremaciones del Recuerdo, San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Born in San Marcos, Santa Barbara, Honduras, Elvia immigrated to the United States in 1994 and lived in North Bergen, NJ then Union City, NJ before moving to Kearny 14 years ago.

She is survived by her children, Alvaro Roldan Fonseca, Rony Mauricio Fonseca, Nelsy Fonseca and Alma Cidalia Fonseca, and one brother, Carlos Edgardo Cardona

Ms. Fonseca also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
