Elsa Castillo De Soto, 69, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, in St. Michael’s Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, November 24 from 9:00 a.m. until 12 Noon. The funeral service will begin at Noon. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Born in Loja, Ecuador, Mrs. De Soto immigrated to the United States in 1994 and lived in Staten Island, NY. She has lived in Harrison, NJ for the last twenty years.

Elsa is survived by her husband, Hibo Soto, two sons Luis Soto (Olga) and Alberto Soto (Iliana). She was the sister of Jorge, Joselo, Francisco, Ramiro, Edgar, Margarita, Carmen, Gigi, Beatriz, Lili, and Luz Castillo. Elsa also leaves behind her grandchildren, Matthew, Valentino, Emily, Melanie, and Valentina Soto.
