Elizabeth (Taylor) McMillan

Elizabeth McMillan, (nee Taylor), 94, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, June 23 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Born in Harrison, NJ, Elizabeth later lived in Kearny, then North Arlington before moving to Tinton Falls, NJ in 2019.

Mrs. McMillan is survived by three daughters, Catherine Boyes (Ian), Elizabeth Maroldi (Jim), and Mary Starace (Anthony Calabrese), three sisters, Rose Tallent, Catherine Kennedy, and Margaret Donahue. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Meredith, Kirsten (Mike), David (Catherine), Keith, Megan, Daniel (Danielle), Sean, and Susan, and six great-grandchildren, Max, Logan, Luke, Lila, Charlotte, and Miles.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, David McMillan in 1999 and her son, David McMillan in 2012, three brothers, Robert Taylor, Daniel Taylor, and John Taylor, and one sister, Anna Murin.
