Eleanor (Magarelli) Di Staso

Eleanor Di Staso, (Magarelli), 86, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, in Belleville, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Thursday, April 24, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The funeral will begin in the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. then to St. Stephen’s R.C. Church, Kearny where a 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Eleanor moved to Kearny in 1959.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Frederick Di Staso, one daughter, Donna Mirabella and her husband, Patrick and one granddaughter, Raquel Mirabella.

Eleanor was predeceased by her son, Frederick Di Staso and one sister, Nancy Gallagher.
