Edgar Gaguancela

Edgar Gaguancela, 53, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in Hackettstown Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Saturday, November 26 from 2 to 6 p.m. Cremation will be private.

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Mr. Gaguancela immigrated to the United States at age 17 and lived in Newark, NJ then North Arlington, NJ before moving to Belleville, NJ.

He is survived by three children, Jean Gaguancela, Katherine Gaguancela and Kayla Gaguancela. Edgar was the brother of Anderson, Marcelo, Raul, Rosa and Pilar Gaguancela. He was the beloved grandfather of Damian and Dominic Diaz.
