Dimitria Ziakos

Dimitria “Didi” Ziakos, 45, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, in Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Thursday, March 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will be private.

Born in Orange, NJ, Dimitria lived most of her life in West Orange, NJ.

She owned and operated Dee’s Cleaning Service in West Orange for many years.

She is survived by her mother, Susan (nee Ruff) Ziakos, her father, Panagiotis Ziakos and three brothers, Panagiotis “Pete” Ziakos,  Alexandros Ziakos and Panagiotis “Noti” Ziakos.  “Didi” was the aunt of Pete, Luca and Nicholas Ziakos and Vincent Hinjosa.

She also leaves behind her fiancé Louis Reed.

Miss Ziakos was predeceased by her sister, Susan Ann Ritacco.
