Daniel Soto

Daniel Soto, 58, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in University Hospital, Newark, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, May 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, Daniel lived in East Newark, NJ and then Kearny before moving to Myrtle Beach, S.C. He returned to Kearny four months ago.

He is survived by his mother, Lucila (nee Morales) Mullarkey, stepfather, Anthony Mullarkey, one brother, Johnny Soto and his wife Maria, two sisters, Lucy Mullarkey and Flor Cardona, niece, Lyndsey Soto, stepsister, Eileen Bye and stepbrother, Greg Mullarkey. 

Daniel was predeceased by his father, Juan Soto.
