Catherine (Velardi) Ferguson

Catherine Ferguson, (nee Velardi), 98, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at her home in Kearny, NJ

A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny on Tuesday, February 9 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, Mrs. Ferguson was raised in Harrison, NJ, and has lived in Kearny for the last sixty-five years.

She volunteered in St. Stephen’s Elementary School for many years and also was a member of the St. Stephen’s Church Choir.

Catherine is survived by two children, Theresa Di Santo and Daniel Ferguson, and four grandchildren, Grace Ann Graw, Leo S. Di Santo, Jesse Ferguson, and Jennifer Farley.  

Mrs. Ferguson was predeceased by her husband, Walter A Ferguson in 2000.
