Carolyn Downey

Carolyn Downey, 73, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

Born in Union City, NJ, Miss Downey later lived in Weehawkin, NJ before moving to Kearny in 1988.

She was a receptionist for Worldwide Finishing in Hoboken, NJ for 10 years before retiring. Prior she worked in the same capacity for Otis Elevator in New York City for over 10 years.

Carolyn is survived by her siblings, Judith Garcia, Kenneth Downey (Martha), Timothy Downey (Debra), James Downey (Deborah), Kevin Downey (Jose) and Kelley Agness (Mike). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and one great-niece and great-nephew.
