Carol Elizabeth Dixon

Carol E. Dixon, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Sunday, October 2 from 1 to 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Miss Dixon was born in Kearny and lived in North Arlington before moving to Lyndhurst many years ago.

She was a receptionist at Fogarty & Hara in Fair Lawn, NJ for 17 years before retiring in 2018.

Carol is survived by one brother, Charles “Chuck” Dixon and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nephews.

She was predeceased by one brother, Norman Dixon and two sisters, Shirley Eckert and Margaret Southard.
