Bob JK Woods, 57, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 29, 2026, in New York City, NY.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit a the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, July 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will take place in Anfoega Wadamexe Cemetery, Accra, Ghana, West Africa.

Born in Ghana, Mr. Woods immigrated to the United States from Liberia in 2014 and lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Kearny eleven years ago. Now he will be returning to his mother land, Ghana to be laid to rest.

He was a Warehouse Supervisor at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City for the last eleven years.

Bob is survived by his wife, Marlen Lopez, four children, Princess Honeybunch Woods, Edvida Angel Woods, Robert Kwasi Woods and Amber Veronica Woods.
