Arnold L. Capriglione, Jr.

Arnold L. Capriglione Jr. of Kearny, NJ, entered into eternal life on Sunday December 24, 2023, at the age of 76. Arnold was born in Newark, NJ, on November 9, 1947, to the late Arnold L. Capriglione, Sr. and the late Julia (nee Mercuria) Capriglione.

Arnold worked with the Allamuchy, NJ, board of education for 18 years prior to his retirement a year ago. To Arnold retirement was the ultimate career accomplishment. He was then able to spend time washing, cleaning, and waxing his car, which was his ultimate passion.

Arnold is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years to Paula (nee Ferrara) Capriglione; children Jason Capriglione and Natalie Capriglione and her husband Ralph Rivas; and a grandson Liam Dominick Rivas; uncle of Dennis Capriglione, Lisa Musico, and Donna Marie Capriglione. Arnold was the brother of the late Dennis Capriglione and the late Richard Capriglione

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ, on Friday December 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held during the visitation. Cremation will be private.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday January  20th, 2024 in Saint Peter’s R.C. Church, 155 William Street, Belleville, NJ. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ.
