Arkadiusz Geca

Arkadiusz Geca, 47, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in Mount Sinai  Beth Israel Hospital, New York City.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Thursday, June 3 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison, NJ at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 2 from 5 to 9 p.m. The family asks that face masks be worn.

Born in Kielce, Poland Mr. Geca immigrated to the United States in 1995 and lived in Brooklyn, NY. He later moved to Queens, NY before moving to Kearny four years ago.

He was a laborer for Local 79 Construction & General Building Laborers in New York City for the last 15 years.

Arkadiusz is survived by his wife,Anna (nee Omielan) Geca, his parents,  Jan and Janina (nee Palgan) Geca and, one sister, Malgorzata Geca-Gumkowski and her husband, Grzegorz. He was the uncle of Max, Philip, Charles and John.
