Aracy Cezimbra

Aracy Cezimbra, 87, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, NJ.

Born in Uruguaiana, Brazil, Aracy immigrated to the United States in 1972 and lived in Newark, NJ. She then moved to Bloomfield, NJ in 1997 before returning to Newark in 2004.

Mrs. Cezimbra was a laborer for Jomar Display Cases on Freeman Street in Newark from 1976 until 2000.

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Coutinho (Alex), Debora Pereira (John), Lucia Cezimbra, Daniel Cezimbra (Kristen), and Solomon Cezimbra (Maria). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren.

Aracy was predeceased by her husband, Glacir Cezimbra in 2008.
