Ann Marie (Vieira) Stoia

Ann Marie Stoia (Vieira), 64, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at home in Kearny, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Saturday, May 17 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Born in Foz do Arelho, Portugal, Ann immigrated to the United States in 1969 and lived in Newark, NJ. She moved to Kearny in 1999.

Ms. Stoia was an Administrative Assistant at Macy’s at the Newport Center Mall in Jersey City, NJ for the last twelve years.

She is survived by her children, Shannon Stoia and Dennis Angelo Stoia, Jr. and his wife, Christa, one brother, Anthony George Vieira and his wife, Michelle and one niece, Arlin Marie Vieira.

Ann was predeceased by her parents, Arlindo and Maria Alice (Felipe) Vieira and one brother, Luis Felipe Vieira.
