Angelo Pirrello

Angelo Pirrello, 91, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, in Hampton Ridge Healthcare & Rehab Center, Toms River, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday June 12 at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Born in the family home in East Newark, NJ Angelo was raised in East Newark and lived there for many years before moving to Kearny fifty years ago.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952 until 1954.

Mr. Pirrello earned his B.S. in Engineering from Newark College of Engineering in 1960 and later earned his MA in Engineering.

He was employed as an Engineer at Clinton Industries in Carlstadt, NJ for many years.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Kathleen Wandras (John), Jodi Richards (Paul), Paul Pirrello (Kelly) and Kathy Pirrello.  He also leaves several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Angelo was predeceased by his brothers, Giacomo, Michael, Anthony and Paul Pirrello and one nephew John Pirrello.
