Angela P. (Cuozzo) Marano

Angela P. Marano, 90, (nee Cuozzo),  entered into eternal peace on August 8, 2025.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Thursday, August 14 beginning at 9:30 a.m.  The funeral will begin at 11:15 a.m. then to St. Lucy’s R.C. Church, Newark where a 12 Noon Funeral Mass will be celebrated.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

 She was the loving wife to Frank for the past 53 years.  She is survived by her sisters, Barbara DeFuria, Norma Jean Cuozzo, and Lucia Corsaro.  She is predeceased by her parents Generoso and Cecilia (Caputo) Cuozzo.  Also, her brother in-laws, Thomas Corsaro and Joseph DeFuria.

Angela was a loving aunt to eight nieces and nephews, their spouses, and children.  She was a supportive aunt who always put her family first. She was also a devoted godmother to Dolores Cardinale and Robert DeFuria.

Angela was born on November 13, 1934 in Newark, NJ and grew up in the First Ward. She was the head bookkeeper at Congoleum in Kearny for 45 years. She enjoyed international travel, reading, Atlantic City, and most importantly spending time with her family. Christmas Eve was her favorite holiday. She always cooked the traditional Italian fish feast at her home for her loved ones.  Those memories will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
