Albert J. Severino, 82 of Livingston, NJ passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Tuesday, March 31 from 3 to 7 p.m. The funeral will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:00 a.m. then to St. Stephen’s R.C. Church, Kearny where a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Cremation will be private.
He was born on April 10, 1943 in Newark, NJ. Albert was the son of the late Albert and Bertha (Caswell) Severino.
He was a devote Catholic who served six years in the monastery in Beacon NY. He then served in the US Army from 1969-1971 during the Vietnam War. Albert eventually settled into his role as a carpenter and contractor for 40 years before retiring in 2015.
Above all Albert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He joins his wife of 48 years, Judie (Isola)) Severino in eternal rest. He is survived by his children, Ryan (Kristin) Severino, Megan (Jody) Hill and Keith (Micayla) Severino; and his seven grandchildren, Adriana, Emilia, Ethan, Owen, Macey, Isla and Romy. He was pre deceased by his sister, Teresa Sellmeyer and brother Michael Severino
