Zenaida (Vega) Rodriguez

Zenaida Rodriguez, (nee Vega), 88, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Thursday, August 15 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 1957. She lived in Newark before moving to Kearny in 1980.

She is survived by her grandson, Eric Valdes and his wife Shawn; two sisters, Teresa Vega and Francisca Zafra and all of her nieces and nephews.

Zenaida was predeceased by her husband, Efrain Rodriguez; one daughter, Annette Valdes and one son, Alexander Rodriguez.
