Nohemi Angelica Esteves, 49, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny, NJ at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Esteves was born in Mexico and immigrated to this country in 1992, and lived in Jersey City, NJ. She has lived in Kearny for the last 22 years.

Nohemi was a cook for the Compass Group and worked at Merck in Kenilworth, NJ for 16 years,

She is survived by her husband, Juan A. Esteves; two daughters, Daniela Lopes and Angelica Esteves; her mother, Ramona C. Cabrera. She also leaves behind her siblings, Javier, Ernesto, Arturo, Hilda, Alejandra, Maribel, Magaly and Clara and one grandson, Ricardo.

Nohemi was always very happy and loved to help and host others all of the time.
