Jennie Cybowski Obituary

Jennie Cybowski, 90, (nee Verceglio) passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

Born in Pittstown, NJ, she lived in Clifton, NJ before moving to Kearny in 1964.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Boroznoff of Red Bank, NJ and Paul Boroznoff of Carolina Beach, NC. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Cybowski.

The Henrietta Benstead Senior Citizens Center of Kearny was a very special place for Jennie. She was a member of both the Kearny Senior Citizens Club, Inc. which meets on Thursdays and the Friendship/Harmony Club which meets on on Mondays. On many mornings, she would arrive at 6:00 a.m.and open the club to get everything prepared for the day. Jennie loved to sing and could often be heard singing at the Senior Citizens Center. One of her favorite songs was Crazy, by Patsy Cline, which she always performed at the annual senior picnic at River Bank Park.

Private cremation took place on Monday, January 7, 2019
