Jaime Marcelo Nunez, 48, died suddenly on Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Michael’s University Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny.

Jaime was born in Valparaiso, Chile on March 3, 1969. He has lived in Kearny since age 3.

Mr. Nunez was an avid car lover and was employed at Zippo’s Car Stereo in Plainfield, NJ for the last 5 years.

He is survived by his parents, Enrique and Angela (nee Esparza) Nunez; one sister, Pamela Kuffermann (Brian) and one brother, Rodrigo Nunez (Brenda). He was the uncle of Anthony, Arianna, and Brayden.
